Today was Cathrine’s (on Bonum Vitae) Birthday! There really isn’t a better place to celebrate your birthday!

We pulled into Fry Pan in the early afternoon with enough time to enjoy the sun. Some people kayaked, others dropped crab pots, and a group of us went for a nice long swim. The water was the warmest we have seen at 64 degrees, and we did laps around the boats. We got out of the water and soaked up the last of the day’s sunshine.

As the sun went down, we sang happy birthday and ate cupcakes on Bonum Vitae. Everyone in the raft was up on their fly bridges to join in and share the birthday treat. As the light faded, stars and laughter filled the evening.

Tomorrow we will make the crossing across Dixon Entrance over to Port McNeil. The weather calls for a smooth crossing to bring us to our final destination. It has been an incredible experience with the folks on this leg. The places we have visited will remain in our memories and there will be so many things we take away with us as everyone goes back to their homes.
