A spatter of rain fell on us as we pulled off the docks this morning. As we made the short trek to Ganges the rain slowed, and by the time we were on the docks in Ganges the clouds began to clear.
Ganges is a very artistic community with art galleries on every corner. Everyone took a stroll around town and many of us walked a little ways out of town to The Glass Foundry. This is a studio and gallery for beautiful glass art. They have a large collection of glass telephone pole insulators.
Farms also scatter Salt Spring Island and on our walk we passed by many sheep and geese. After returning to town each boat found a lovely waterfront restaurant to have dinner and we watched an amazing sunset behind the town.
