We left one incredible anchorage only to arrive at another just as spectacular. Day seven brought with it clear skies and stunning weather, making for an easy cruise filled with postcard-perfect views.

Along the route, we passed the historic Five Finger Lighthouse, a well-known landmark with deep maritime significance and beautiful architecture perched on a rocky island. Wildlife sightings came in waves—sea otters bobbing in the kelp, sea lions lounging on outcrops, and humpbacks surfacing gracefully as we neared the anchorage.

Once settled at Foot Island, the adventure continued. While some guests tried their luck fishing, others joined a guided kayak outing, paddling across glassy waters. We were rewarded with the unforgettable sight of humpback whales surfacing just yards away—an experience that will no doubt stay with everyone lucky enough to witness it.

As the sun dipped toward the horizon, we gathered around a campfire on shore, roasting s’mores (for the first time for some!), laughing, and soaking in the serene beauty of the evening. In one of those rare, magical moments, a humpback surfaced just offshore, visible from the glow of the firelight—an unforgettable end to a remarkable day.
