Our final morning in Fords Terror offered a last chance to soak in its otherworldly beauty. With a mid-afternoon departure, guests had time to explore this majestic fjord in their own way. Some chose to join a photo tour, capturing the drama of misty cliffs and cascading waterfalls. Others slipped quietly into kayaks to trace the shoreline, savoring the stillness one last time.

In the afternoon, we made our way out of the protected arms of Fords Terror and cruised toward Tracy Arm Cove. The shift from steep canyon walls to the open anchorage was stark but beautiful in its own right.

Upon arrival, a handful of guests joined an impromptu iceberg tour, navigating carefully around the floating sculptures of ancient glacier ice. Some even got hands-on, assisting in the harvesting of ice—a fitting way to chill tomorrow’s drinks with a bit of natural history.
The weather held steady, and the peaceful cove set the tone for a relaxed evening as we looked ahead to tomorrow’s glacier visit.
