After weeks of cruising, exploring, and adventure, today’s lay day in Sidney offered a slower pace and a chance to soak in some land-based delights. Guests split off for a variety of experiences, taking full advantage of what this charming seaside town has to offer.
Some opted to immerse themselves in history and engineering at the British Columbia Aviation Museum, marveling at vintage aircraft and aviation artifacts that span decades of flight. Others spent a tranquil afternoon wandering the world-renowned Butchart Gardens, surrounded by vibrant blooms and perfectly manicured landscapes.

Back in town, many took time to stroll the quaint streets of Sidney, browsing local shops, cafes, and bookstores—all set against the backdrop of ocean views and salty air. After so much time at sea, it was a welcomed change of scenery and a chance to recharge before the final leg of our journey home.
