We departed Pruth Bay wrapped in a dense morning fog, with visibility ebbing and flowing as patches of sun tried to break through. The moody, atmospheric start gave the journey a sense of quiet anticipation. Along the way, several guests paused at a local fishing hotspot to drop their lines—and their patience paid off!

By the time we neared Blunden Harbour, the sky opened up and we were treated to a few glorious hours of sunshine. It was just enough to warm our faces and lift our spirits before the fog returned. Some took advantage of the weather window by exploring nearby rapids by dinghy, while others stayed closer to the anchorage for a relaxing afternoon of fishing.

Back on board, the day’s catch became the highlight of the evening. Freshly cooked and shared among new friends, it was the kind of impromptu dinner party that makes flotilla life so memorable. The return of the fog may have cooled the air, but the stories and laughter kept things warm well into the night.
