Preventative and Annual Maintenance

Engines and Generators

Working with experienced diesel mechanics when needed, we conduct Full Power Sea Trials to evaluate engine performance under load and confirm operation within manufacturer specifications.

Clean, dependable fuel is essential for reliable engine and generator performance. We inspect fuel-system components, replace filters, check for water or contamination, and address conditions that may affect system operation.
When fuel polishing is recommended, we coordinate the work with a trusted specialist, giving you one point of contact throughout the service process.
Battery and Charging Systems
Don’t get caught with dead batteries offshore. We provide comprehensive battery load testing to evaluate the condition of your starting and house battery banks.
We can also inspect:

Electrical Systems

Bonding Systems and Corrosion Protection
Protect your vessel and its underwater components from galvanic corrosion and stray-current damage. Our ABYC-certified technicians inspect bonding and corrosion-protection systems, look for signs of deterioration, and identify areas that may require attention.
We inspect anodes, bonding connections, thru-hulls, underwater fittings, shore-power connections, and other relevant components, then recommend corrections appropriate to your vessel’s design.
Plumbing and Sanitation Systems
Reliable freshwater and sanitation systems make every trip safer and more comfortable. We inspect and maintain:
- Freshwater pumps and plumbing

- Holding tanks
- Waste and macerator pumps
- Seacocks and related valves
- Winterization systems

Steering, Controls, and Running Gear
