PREVENTATIVE & ANNUAL MAINTENANCE:
Each year, the vessels in our charter fleet undergo extensive preventative maintenance to ensure that they operate as soundly as possible during our busy charter season. Some of these maintenance items include general vessel safety inspections, fire extinguisher certification, exercising of valves, replacement of critical components, filter and fluid changes, checking for leaks, and servicing pumps. We can recommend preventative maintenance services that meet your vessel’s needs.

BATTERY LOAD TESTING:
Battery health is critical to ensuring your engines start when you need them to and that your systems are powered when away from a shore power service. We can load test your battery banks to ensure your battery charging and storage system is operating most efficiently.

ENGINE LOAD TESTING:
Working with skilled diesel mechanics, we can take your vessel on a Full Power Sea Trial to ensure that the engines are working efficiently and within manufacturer specifications. We can also load test your generator(s) to assess the health of these engines which are critical to system operation.

BONDING CONNECTIONS & CORROSION PROTECTION:
Is your vessel properly protected from stray electrical current? Our ABYC technicians are trained in electrical systems and corrosion protection to identify weak points in the bonding system and properly protect all your thru-hulls and underwater fittings.
