1998 - 34' Devlin Topknot

Sam Devlin designed and built. Holden is an exceptional modern classic Fast Cruiser / Trawler / Picnic Boat built ideal for a couple's extended cruising, family weekends and day cruises or cocktail evenings with friends. This is an ideal boat for a couple looking for a unique vessel planning to spend weeks exploring coastal islands, weekends with grandkids teaching the wonders of the sea and with large numbers of friends enjoying day trips and social evenings.

This boat has exceptional fit and finish, cruises at 18 to 24 knots with her single 250hp Volvo Penta diesel duoprop sterndrive. Her quiet running engine is mounted under the aft transom seat, Holden offers and enormous amount of space for cruising and entertaining for a boat of her size.

She is handsome traditional cruiser with traditional bronze hardware and is built using modern West system epoxy composite construction and Dynel hull and deck sheathing on the exterior. Her unique style and stunning appearance draws attention and favorable comments wherever she goes. She features a large cockpit with hardtop protection from the sun and drop down curtains for those rainy Northwest days and evenings.

This boat is lavishly equipped with bronze fitting throughout and top of the line accessories. Notable features include Vacu-flush head, a 200W inverter and a Cablemaster shore power cord that recoils and disappears with the touch of a button.

The pilothouse provides comfortable seating for the skipper and mate. The large cabin windows provide great visibility underway. Controls and navigation equipment are within easy reach. The spacious forward cabin with full galley and settees features a dining table for 8 guests. The port and starboard settee make into large single berths for extended cruising. The private head is located on centerline forward. The large cockpit with its drop down curtains easily converts to private sleeping accommodations for children or overnight guests.

Holden offers the prestige and luxury of a fast Picnic Boat at a fraction of the cost usually associated with that type of vessel.

Her suite of navigation equipment features recently installed Garmin radar, depth sounder and navigation plotter. She also has a Si-Tex AIS transceiver, class A & B. Her other navigation equipment includes Ritchie compass, Robertson autopilot and VHF radio. An original Simrad GPS chartplotter provides backup. She has a Vetus stern truster and a Lewmar anchor windlass.

Green leather upholstery and Corian countertops and a Herreshoff-style interior with superb jointerwork and varnished teak and mahogany trim complete the interior.

Holden is a modern classic that will hold her value for years to come.
