Well rested and feeling the call of the real world, we were fired up and off the dock shortly after 7:00 AM.   After leading the group back through Obstruction Pass, Victoria bumped up the throttles and steamed ahead with the current to get back and prepare for the arrival of the others.  Things were hectic on the docks as they are most Fridays.  The guests off loaded their gear, and filtered out amongst the bustle of Squalicum harbor as the crew of Victoria adjusted to less peaceful demands of their shore side duties.  By all accounts, our inaugural San Juan Islands Flotilla was a success, with many of the guests’ already thinking about joining us again next summer.  One thing is for sure, Victoria and her crew are eager to get back out, hopeful that our new friends will rejoin us and ready to share the beauty, history, wildlife of these great islands with a new crop of explorers.
