We’re appearing at the Seattle Boat Show and Vancouver International Boat Show!
At NW Explorations, we live for both the Seattle Boat Show and the Vancouver International Boat Show, and both are on the horizon. NW Explorations will be anchored at both exhibitions, showcasing our yachts, services and flotillas. Being alongside the best providers of everything-to-do-with-boating at these two huge, exciting events is something we take very seriously. We are so proud to share our wares and voyages with enthusiastic souls who live for the sea. It’s our privilege to display the incredible experiences that can be had along the Pacific Northwest and we pride ourselves in providing spectacular and memorable experiences.
At the Seattle Boat Show, you can find us on Lake Union at the ‘Boats Afloat Show’ with two of our gorgeous brokerage yachts and the NWE team to bring you aboard for a close look and feel. You’re also likely to discover new products and make new friendships with other boating aficionados. We will be in Tent 2, booth 4B.
The Seattle Boat Show, taking place on January 25th to February 2nd, 2019 will feature nearly 500 exhibitors displaying their boats or services. There will also be boating and fishing seminars (many of them free), on a whole host of topics: from navigating at night, to diesel engine education and recounts of recent voyages for an insider’s view. We’re proud to say that our very own, Rich Fitzpatrick, will be speaking at two of these seminars at Century Link. His first seminar, “Flotilla Freedom” takes place on the 30th January at 1:15 pm and his second talk titled “Preparing for a Trip to Alaska: How to Avoid the Ten Most Common Problems” takes place on 31st January at 6:15 pm. Rich is one of our long time flotilla captains, with a wealth of experience. Get down early to ensure you don’t miss out!
Oh, and did we mention FREE boat rides, craft beer and prizes to be won? This is not just walking around and looking; this is a fully immersive experience!
Following closely behind the Seattle event is the Vancouver International Boat Show, scheduled from –the 6th to the 10th of February at two locales: one indoor and one outdoor. The indoor exhibition will be at BC Place in Vancouver where we will be at the Canoe Cove Community booths 383 & 394. The outdoor feature will be at Granville Island Maritime Market and Marina. We will be alongside new products and exhibitors. There will be seminars and workshops covering everything from cooking demonstrations and boat buying tips, to sessions with professional anglers and how to save whales while you’re at sea.
The Vancouver International Boat Show always delivers. Contests, giveaways and free boat rides will be available at the Granville Island location. If you’re new to boating, don’t fret, you’ll have access to a beginner’s guide to boating, the Boating Resource Centre and much more.
